About Lora

Lora Mosier of Sheffield Lake realized a life-long dream by LBMstarting the Burning River Boutique in September, 2009, featuring her hand-crafted jewelry, gifts and objects d’ art.

The main focus of Lora’s art has become her photography, which is featured on her custom note cards that have been available at Mojo’s Coffee House in Bay Village, Ohio.

Having had much success with Lora’s note cards, Mojo’s Coffee House held a photo show in June of 2010 where Lora’s photographs from Put-In-Bay and Bay Village were on display and for sale.

The Key Bank Focus 2010 photo contest held at the Solon Center for the Arts was the first competition for Lora and both of her entries, Cropped Crops and Sunset Frets were chosen by the judges for exhibition at the Beck Center for the Arts in Lakewood.

May 5, 2011 was the first gallery opening for both Peddling Art and for Lora with her Bicycle Blues photo.

She joined them again in 2012 with Ready for Riding.LBM Pedaling Art

Another project for 2012 took Lora to Goddess Blessed in Lakewood with a sampling of her customized photo note cards. She recently added pictures ready for framing along with the note cards.

Lora was part of a group photo show at the Root Cafe in Lakewood, which ran through April, 2013.

On June 13, 2013 Lora’s photographs donned the walls at the Sur Saint Clair Art Gallery in Toledo, Ohio.

Upcoming events for the fall of 2013 include Grumpy’s Cafe in Cleveland and Emporium Wine and Underdog Cafe in Yellow Springs, Ohio.

Lora uses the Olympus E-420, 10 megapixel digital camera with Zuiko 14-42mm, 40-150mm, and 140-600mm lenses.
